This is the car that brought me to #Bonneville, for the first time. #1976 and I was freaking out about going to #speedweek - since every early August Dad took off with his buddies...and I alway knew where they were headed, but I was left at home😪. I finally got to head out to Mecca with Pops for the innagural outing of Kenny Logan's and Jim Dincau's #badass Blown Fuel Modified Roadster. Pictured here with Ken Roble's 709, soon to revert to "Baja Bad Boy" Jerry Jones (previously his roadster) shoeing and his iconic '700' back on the door - the same digits @mrs.arias3rd (Leslie Arias) proudly displays on her land speed motorcycles💕

Pictured is my initiation into the #bonneville200mphclub, circa #1998 during the 50th running of #speedweek. Mike - along with my heroes and #landspeed legends Monte Wolfe, Gordon Hoyt, Kenny Hoover and Dad - was ecstatic we joined them into the "Club". Always a hardcore racer and sincere individual, Mike will be sorely missed💔
