Description
Arias Components’ “Surfer” scoop is a classic addition to your 2 & 4-barrel carb and EFI setup! It’s a finned version of the hard-to-find, popular Cal Custom 40-40 air scoop of the 1960s. Start from the top with the perfect lid for your single and multi-carb systems.
FEATURES:
- Shot-peened matte finish (Polishing optional)
- Adapts to most 2 & 4-BBL carbs & throttle bodies with 5-3/8″ diameter flange (**check choke horn clearance**)
- Separate adapter required for AFB and WCFB style carburetors (not included)
- May bolt directly to carburetor (without choke horn)
- Height: 4-3/8″ (with adapter), 2-3/4″ (no adapter) / Length: 6-1/2″ / Width: 7-7/8″
- Does not have provisions for air filter (must be adapted, if desired)
- Includes 1-9/16″ tall carb to scoop spacer (requires existing air filter stud & nut)
- Mounts with three stainless set-screws (included)
- 356 heat-treated sand-cast aluminum, not die-cast
